- Effective coaching depends on the quality of the relationship between the manager and the coach. We recognise this fact and give great importance to developing good working relationships.
- We bring an understanding of how organisations function as complex systems, with their own culture, values and politics which can make change very difficult. Coaching enables a manager to step back and evaluate these dynamics before deciding on the best strategy for action.
- Coaching sessions frequently focus on how to manage a difficult employee. We have considerable experience in helping managers understand how relationships become fraught and what steps can be taken to break a deadlock which has developed between the manager and his/her employee.
- Our psychological orientation enables us to see many areas of potential growth and development in individuals in the workplace. We work with managers on their own development and on untapping the potential of their staff.
