Approach
The Bridge approach provides powerful learning about working in
teams. Participants learn first hand about team dynamics and are
thus equipped with skills and knowledge which they can apply to
different working situations.
Participants may belong to one team or come from different parts of the organisation, taking the opportunity to explore together the internal and external forces effecting them in their roles, teams and organisation.
Learning Outcomes
Participants learn:
- About their style of working in and leading teams, and the strengths and weaknesses of that style. With that knowledge they can immediately begin to experiment with more effective ways of working.
- To spot when the team gets diverted from its task, and to intervene effectively.
- To assess and use team resources.
- To work effectively with different people, those who may have different objectives and different learning styles.
- To give and receive feedback constructively.
